Italy has turned out in force to support the 6DAYS® FIM Enduro of Nations in Bergamo. With an incredible party atmosphere and celebration of Enduro, the 6DAYS® Italia is proving to be a very special ninety-ninth edition.

For Thomas Oldrati (Honda), competing in the Club Team Award category with BBM – Racing Time, Bergamo is also called home. One of Italy’s most successful Enduro riders, Oldrati has contested fourteen editions of the 6DAYS® as a member of either their World Trophy or Junior World Trophy teams.

He first won the Junior World Trophy category with Italy in Greece in 2008, and most recently helped Italy to the World Trophy victory on home soil in Lombardy in 2021.

Now a veteran of the sport, racing in the Club Team Award category in Bergamo was an opportunity too important to miss, and it is more than living up to his expectations.

This week has been incredible so far. There are so many fans in the special tests watching the race, it’s amazing,” beams Oldrati, midway through the event.

“For me, it’s a special race. I’m here with my Club team, my family and friends racing together in my hometown. Bergamo is my home, my children are watching their father race. I don’t think it can get much better than that now.

After fourteen editions at the sharp end of the Trophy categories, how does the 6DAYS® feel inside the Club Team Award?

I’ve raced the 6DAYS® fourteen times as either a Junior World Trophy or World Trophy rider with Italy. So competing in the Club Team Award class is different.

By the time we get to the tests, many riders have already passed. The special tests are not really like what we initially walked. But it’s good, it’s fun, it’s the 6DAYS® Italia!”
