Sandra Gomez leads Spain’s FIM Women’s World Trophy team in this year’s FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE).

Arguably one of the most complete motorcycle riders competing in Portimao, Portugal, Gomez’ skills extend from traditional Enduro to Trials on a World-class level.

Contesting the 2019 FIM TrialGP Championship, she finished a very impressive third overall and helped her country to an emphatic win in this year’s FIM Trial des Nations in late September.

Now turning her attention to the FIM ISDE, she is hoping to find her way onto the podium once more in 2019.

It’s been a very busy and varied year,” laughs Gomez. “I started racing in January and now here we are in November still going strong.

While I love the technical riding of Trials and Enduro, I’ve worked hard on my speed – I think I am as ready as I can be.”

Third in 2018, Gomez feels it is possible for Spain to improve on this in Portugal.

The FIM ISDE is such a long week – anything can and does happen, so you’ve got to be ready,” she tells.

Another podium would be a brilliant result, but we’re pushing to win because you’ve got to start with that mentality.
