Using the occasion of the recent EnduroGP event in Italy, FMI President Giovanni Copioli along with other key personnel presented the 2022 version of their famous blue jersey that will be proudly worn by members of the Italian teams at this year’s FIM International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE). Instantly recognisable, the ‘blue’ riders are sure to once again be amongst the favourites when this year’s competition gets underway at Le Puy-en-Velay, France from Monday 29 August to Saturday 3 September.

Celebrating their previous team victories at the ISDE, Motocross of Nations and Supermoto of Nations,  Italy’s new blue jersey carries three gold stars in the same way that the winning nations of football’s World Cup do. The clean and modern style of the 2022 jersey is complimented by the Italian flag colours on the sleeves, with the red, green and white reinforcing the nation’s identity.

Capturing the moment Giovanni Copioli, President of the FMI said: “The presentation of the Blue Jersey is a ceremony that is repeated every year, and which always transmits great emotions. It was nice to see, here in Carpineti, the enthusiasm of the public and the ISDE winning riders who unveiled the jersey with us. We are ready for an ISDE full of team competitions, in which everyone will give their all to obtain prestigious results. Last year we were protagonists in many classes, winning four world titles and often getting on the podium. Repeating this, if not improving, will certainly be difficult but we will try with all our strength. I conclude with great encouragement to the riders who will represent our country wearing the FMI 2022 Blue Jersey! ”
